Tourists in Holland.
One of the best memories I've had this year back in April is when my cousins Lindsay, Tracy and Kim came to visit us here in Holland. While the visit was very short and we packed a lot into 2 days. It was all worth every minute of the time we had together. The first day began with a visit to our little house where we all drank coffee exchanged greetings, hugs and tears. Then after an hour or two of sharing stories and foto's we headed to Kinderdijk which is about 20 mins away by car and is on the World Heritage List. We took in the sites of the old windmills or Molens as they're called here. It was a very beautiful day filled with fun, laughs and heart to heart moments reconnecting again with these 3 ladies whom I see as more than just cousins, but rather as sisters. Growing up with them from time to time on the farm was where most of my most fun childhood memories began. It was so much fun this day sharing good times walking and talking, Ina finally got to meet some of the family members from my side that she had never met before and all connected on more than just a family level from afar. But closer ties were again re-affirmed this day. I took turns sharing moments with each of the sisters, making sure I captured one special moment just for them to treasure and to call their own. As well a group shot of what I most remember was so fun about them growing up and being silly and having lots of fun. The result was this image shown above.
Here below are images that I captured of them separately unique to their own personality I think best caught in these images. That I can reflect on any day of the week, now that they all have returned home safely I can relive the moments in time that we all had that day back in April and boy do I miss them all.
